Our forestry engineers assist the numerous villages in the harvest of damaged, over matured and plagued-infested trees, which contribute fuel for the fires. The villagers remove these dead or dying trees and bring them to our sawmills where the logs are converted into lumber. These preservation efforts by the villagers require capital. The income from the sales of the lumber process generates over four thousand jobs for these forest villages. The income also enables them to purchase the expensive equipment needed to build the roads to fight forest fires that occur by nature or by accident. These roads also enable forestry personal to enter into the forests to evaluate the health and condition of the trees, and make the necessary recommendations to preserve there forest's. The Income generated from the logs and lumber that is produced helps numerous families of villagers to change from the traditional custom of burning of forest acres of beautiful forests from being destroyed, by allowing these families to purchase their food products at the market. It has also converted a very large number of villagers into conservationists. A facility to process the large number of logs generated by the reclamation and clean up of these vast forests was constructed by our firm in a central location near the tourist resort City of Ixtapa in the state of Guerrero, Mexico. The quantity of lumber delivered to our plant each week is between two to three thousand board feet. A large percentage of the lumber is a clear select grade. The lumber mills that we employ to process logs, deliver the lumber to our plant Monday through Saturday. Our commitment is to pay for lumber deliveries on Tuesday of the following week. Our American, and Mexican lumber clients purchase our lumber by the semi-load of approximately 18,000 board feet per order. The customers process the lumber into moldings, doorframes, cabinets, and furniture. These clients have purchased lumber from our firm for the past five years. Most of these large companies have been in business for twenty years or more. Our inventory is sold and shipped to customers in one or two days after the lumber arrives at our warehouse's in Acapulco, Mexico City and El Paso, Texas. The excellent quality and large quantities of Ponderosa, Sugar Pine, and Oak lumber and logs that are available to our firm in this area have allowed us to acquire large modern sawmill that is located one (1) mile from our plant. The new sawmill will produce sixty thousand - (8) hour shift. The sawmill production will increase our pine lumber production to three hundred sixty thousand (360,000) board feet per week. The oak and hardwood production is projected at 100,000 board feet per week. This added production will expand our markets, to include Mexican, and Asian companies that manufacture doors, cabinets, and furniture. The Mexican Lumber markets are our largest clients, and buy ten million board feet monthly in our area. The larger volume of logs that are available to our company will allow us to expand our operations to include the export of Pine and Hardwood logs to other countries by the fall of 2004. Our goal is to ship thirty million feet of pine and hardwood logs per year. That will generate more than $30,000,000.00 dollars in gross annual sales from that division. We are confident that our past experience and future growth prospects will provide a very bright future for our company and to the benefit of the numerous communities that live and work in these forests that we need to preserve. Our firm is extending a warn invitation to our clients, friends and business associates to visit the beautiful region region of Mexico.
